Gut Sutthausen

Gut Sutthausen is a historic estate located in the Sutthausen district of Osnabrück, Germany. First documented in 1282, it was originally owned by the squire Johann von Sutthausen. The estate features notable structures such as a mill from 1589 and a chapel built in 1893. In 1935, the property was acquired by the Thuiner Sisters of the Franciscan order, who established the “Berufsfachschule am Marienheim,” focusing on subjects like housekeeping, childcare, social care, and social assistance. The manor is surrounded by an extensive park with ponds, offering visitors a serene environment to explore.
